Structural/Civil engineering

DUTIES :

• Develop drawings based on inputs from design engineers and project managers.
• Modify and update drawings as per review comments and site requirements.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (Structural, Geotechnical, Electrical, etc.).
• Maintain drawing registers and documentation control as per company procedures.
• Support tender documentation and design submissions.
• Collaborate with the sales team to create concept drawings and visual aids for client proposals.
• Prepare detailed foundation, plan, fabrication drawings and all related documentation required for the project.
• Participate in project review meetings and provide design input to improve manufacturability and efficiency.
• Help establish and document design standards, templates, and workflows as part of building our internal design department.
• Ensure that the drawings meet industry standards and project requirements.
• Other engineering and documentation duties as assigned by the ownership.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS REQUIRED:

• High School graduate with a diploma in Civil or Structural disciplines or equivalent experience.
• 2 to 5 years minimum with a major contractor or consultant
• Experience working with Steel and RCC structures.
• Knowledge of associated industry detailing standards Knowledge of 2D and/or 3D drafting systems (AutoCAD and/or MicroStation).
• Working knowledge of English, both oral and written.
• Show flexibility and ensure proper hand-over with regards to reassignment to other departments, construction sites, and fabrication yards.
• The individual will have working knowledge of mechanical parts, strength of materials and their mechanical properties.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D.
• Must possess solid written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able and willing to work in a team environment.
• Must be a self-starter and work with minimal direction.
• Must be willing and able to learn our design standards, templates and processes.
