Job Title: Value Stream Manager (Structures Division) Job Status: Full Time
Department: Operations Reports To: Director of Operations
FLSA Status: Exempt Travel Requirements: None
Work Schedule: Mon-Thurs; 5AM-3:30PM Base Location: Hayden, ID
Pay Range: $65,000 - $90,000
Actual compensation will depend on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Value Stream Manager plays a critical role in our composite’s aerospace operations with a focus on lean
manufacturing. The Value Stream Manager will be responsible for the overall operation of a product line,
ensuring smooth and efficient processes that meet customer requirements for quality and timing. The Value
Stream Manager will use Lean principles to eliminate waste, reduce cycle time, and improve productivity while
improving quality and customer service.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Develop, oversee, and optimize the end-to-end production process for the assigned value stream. Monitor
KPIs to track performance and implement solutions to improve the process where necessary.
  • Lead lean manufacturing initiatives to minimize waste, improve efficiency and product quality. Implement
tools like 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Kanban, and Just-In-Time production.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Design, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to
optimize the overall value stream. Lead regular meetings to review performance and drive action plans.
  • Ensure production scheduling is aligned with schedule provided by program planning.
  • Ensure ERP configuration is maintained current in accordance with company standards.
  • Ensure ERP transactions are performed with a high level of accuracy. Transactions include, but are not
limited to, Work Order Release, BOMs, Routers, Labor Tracking, Daily Balancing, and Quality Records.
  • Champion continuous improvement efforts, fostering a culture of lean thinking throughout the
organization.
  • Ensure quality control standards are met in line with aerospace industry requirements, ISO standards, and
customer specifications.
  • Control costs, productivity levels, and efficiency to achieve business and financial objectives.
  • Supervise, develop, and lead team members to ensure operational objectives are achieved.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in engineering, operations, or related field.
Experience: Proven experience as a Value Stream Supervisor or similar role within the aerospace and/or
defense industry.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment and may include time in a normal office
environment and may be noisy at times.
