STRUCURAL DESIGNER FOR HOMES AND COMERCIAL BULDINGS

Omran Engineering Consultant is looking for a qualified Structural Designer / Structural Engineer with experience in structural design and site supervision. The candidate must be capable of applying Oman Building Code and relevant international standards in the structural design of residential and commercial buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare structural designs and calculations for residential houses, villas, and commercial shop buildings.
• Apply Oman Building Code and relevant structural standards in all designs.
• Produce structural drawings, detailing, and reinforcement layouts.
• Coordinate with architectural and MEP teams to ensure proper integration of structural systems.
• Review and approve shop drawings submitted by contractors.
• Conduct site visits and supervision during construction to ensure structural work is executed according to approved drawings and specifications.
• Identify and resolve structural issues during construction.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering / Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in structural design.
• Strong knowledge of Oman Building Code and structural standards.
• Experience designing houses, villas, and commercial buildings.
• Ability to perform structural analysis and prepare design calculations.
• Proficiency in structural software such as ETABS, SAFE, and AutoCAD.
• Ability to supervise construction works and conduct site inspections.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Pay: RO200.000 - RO350.000 per month
