Job description

Student affairs & Registrar Specialist is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering a wide range of academic and administrative support services to enrolled and prospective students. The role ensures that student services are aligned with the Academy's strategic objectives and contribute to a positive and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assists with the planning and development of a set of goals and objectives for the student services unit in conjunction with the Academy strategic planning.
  • Coordinates and administers student support to enrolled and prospective students, such as course registration, graduation processing, petitioning, withdrawals, program documentation,computer accounts, information sessions, receptions, and student orientations.
  • Plan and manage, in coordination with other departments, the Orientation Day for new students, including preparing the program and presentation, setting up thehall, preparing handbooks and brochures.
  • Prepare and continuously update, in coordination with the Dean and other members of the Academic team, the Graduate Programs Catalogue and Student Handbook.
  • Prepare, in coordination with the Dean and other members of the Academic team, the semester's course schedule with assigned faculty for each course.
  • Reviews students support initiatives to ensure student, faculty, and administration needs are met.
  • Maintains student records on database, creates and provides reports.
  • Counsels and confers with students providing program procedures, policies, goals, and objectives, technical guidance, and problem resolution.
  • Act as a focal point of contact to all current students, alumni, faculty, and staff seeking information regarding student activities, events and services, student scholarshipsand/or student affairs policies and procedures.
  • Undertake any other related tasks assigned by the line manager.

Interested candidates must have the following qualifications:

  1. UAE National
  2. Minimum Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Education, or a related field from a reputable/internationally-accredited college or university
  3. 4+ experience in similar role (Academic filed)
