Student Assistant, Intern – JBC Library MakerSpace

Description

The Library MakerSpace assistants will offer entry reference help during evenings, weekends, and other times when faculty librarians are not available, and may offer services in students’ native language.

Examples of Duties

• Maintaining, organizing, and promoting Library MakerSpace.
• Assisting student patrons with project queries and strategies and equipment/supply usage.
• Assisting faculty librarians and administrative staff with preparation for special events or workshops.
• Demonstrating new supplies or equipment for student library assistants and student patrons
• Working with faculty librarian to develop presentation for internship symposium/capstone
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Good academic standing, enrollment in Professional Experience by Design class
