Student Counsellor

The Shri Ram Universal School, Hyderabad is looking for a qualified and empathetic Student Counsellor to support the emotional, academic, and personal development of our students.

We seek a professional who can connect with students across age groups and contribute to a safe, inclusive, and supportive school environment.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Educational Qualification:
• Master’s degree in Psychology, Counselling, or a related field – Mandatory
• Certifications in School Counselling or specialized training in child and adolescent counselling – Preferred
• Experience:
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in student counselling, preferably in a CBSE-affiliated school
• Proven experience in working with diverse student populations and addressing issues such as academic pressure, emotional well-being, peer relationships, and personal development
• Location Preference: Local candidates from Hyderabad will be preferred and considered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one and group counselling sessions for students across grade levels
• Address academic, emotional, social, and behavioral issues impacting student well-being and performance
• Work closely with teachers, parents, and school leadership to identify and support students in need
• Conduct workshops and awareness programs for students, teachers, and parents
• Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards in all counselling interactions
• Contribute to the school’s overall wellness and mental health framework

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
