Style Perfect Events is seeking a driven, detailed‑oriented Events Intern for a hands-on, 10-week education‑based internship designed for students pursuing careers in event planning and production.
We’re a boutique, strategy‑driven event agency with a tight‑knit, collaborative team. Interns work directly with leadership and gain hands-on experience from day one, contributing to real planning, logistics, and event execution.

Commitment:
- 10-week semester-based internship
Schedule:
- Minimum of 15 hours/week. 10 hours in-office (Cornelius, NC) and 5 hours remote
Participation:
- In-person role, daily email check-ins, work on event days, and reliable transportation required
We are currently accepting and reviewing internship applications for the Fall 2026 (September 8th - November 17th 2026), Spring 2027 (February 9th - April 20th 2027), and Summer 2027 (May 25th - August 5th 2027) semesters.
What You’ll Do:
- Event logistics and timeline development
- Vendor coordination and communication
- On-site event execution and set-up
- Research and sourcing for venues and vendors
What We're Looking For In A Student Intern:
Expectations:
- Maintain consistent communication, including daily email checking (Monday–Friday)
- Must be professional, responsible, with a great can-do spirit!
- Obsessive about organization and logistics
- Ability to work with little supervision and in a fast-paced environment
- Show initiative and ability to work independently
- Aptitude to think logically and creatively
- Completes projects in a timely manner
Knowledge and Ability:
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Education, Qualifications, Relevant Experience:
- Enrolled in an accredited higher education institute and be in good academic standing with an overall minimum GPA of 3.2
- Have a laptop and internet access at your residence, and a valid email address
- MUST have reliable transportation to attend events, office hours, and client meetings
- Dress appropriately, professionally
- Be comfortable with e-mail, phone, and in-person communication
- Additional bonus points for those who have taken event planning, hospitality management, marketing, PR, or advertising courses. Candidates who are student members of professional organizations such as ILEA, NACE, the American Marketing Association, the American Advertising Federation, or the Public Relations Society of America will also receive additional points.
