Student Psychology Counselor

Job Summary:

"Smarterskills" is seeking a dedicated Student Psychology Counselor to support students mental health, emotional well-being, and academic success.

The ideal candidate will provide counseling services, intervention strategies, and emotional support to help students manage stress, anxiety, academic challenges, and personal issues.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide individual and group counseling sessions for students, teachers & parents

- Help students cope with academic pressure, stress, and personal challenges

- Develop and implement mental health awareness programs

- Work with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student well-being

- Identify at-risk students and provide early intervention strategies

- Maintain confidential student records and counseling reports

- Conduct workshops on mental health, peer pressure, bullying, and self-confidence

- Refer students to external mental health professionals when needed

Qualifications & Requirements:

✔Education: PG in Psychology

✔ Experience: in student counseling or mental health support

✔Skills: Active listening, empathy, crisis intervention, strong communication, and problem-solving
