Student Services Officer to support the student services activities at ABP and enhance student experience.
Key Responsibility:

Develop, coordinate, and implement student services programs and activities, ensuring alignment with ABP’s mission and Qatar Foundation’s values.

Develop and maintain the ABP event calendar and ensure planning and execution of the events, including major events such graduation ceremony, alumni gathering.

Act as a focal point for student organizations, clubs, and associations and facilitating students’ engagement opportunities.

Support the planning of student orientation of new students and collaborate with other department and organizations and ensuring students attendance and engagement.

Work jointly with academic and non-academic departments, partners and organizations to ensure capturing student’s involvement and participation.

Maintain a communication with ABP alumni to keep them engaged with ABP events and activities.

Liaise with the appropriate departments to address student’s complaints and needs, in alignment with student privacy and right.

Support organizing student trips and ensures student safety.

Participate in the writing and reviewing ABP Student Handbook and other students related documents.

Participate in the ABP formal representation such as university fairs and open days.

Work closely with the Media and Social Media Team, providing them with necessary information and support related to ABP activities and events.

Maintain a record of ABP events and activities including photos, news and ensure appropriate archiving.
Work Experience & Educational Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in business, communications or a related field.
-
2-5 years of relevant full-time work experience in education and/or student services, students’ recruitment, admissions, events planning, etc.

Experience working with students from diverse cultures and educational abilities.
-
Very good administrative and academic organizing skills.
-
A dedicated team worker approach with very good interpersonal and communication skills.
-
Excellent writing skills with the ability to draft and edit a variety of written reports and communications and to articulate ideas clearly and concisely; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.

Proficiency in Oracle ERP.

Proficiency in MS Office applications.
