Studio Manager

Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Studio Sales Manager to lead our creative film and television space with passion and precision. This role is vital in overseeing daily operations, managing a talented team, and ensuring an inspiring environment that fosters creativity and productivity. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with excellent organizational skills, a flair for management, and a commitment to delivering exceptional client experiences. As a Studio Sales Manager, you will drive the success of our studio by attracting corporate and creative clients, implementing efficient workflows, maintaining high standards, and nurturing a positive team culture.

Duties

  • Lead specialized studio operations, ensuring smooth workflow and optimal resource utilization
  • Manage staff scheduling, shift management, and employee orientation to foster a motivated team environment
  • Oversee client interactions, ensuring outstanding customer service and communication at all touchpoints
  • Coordinate inventory management, purchasing, and stock control to maintain necessary supplies and equipment
  • Supervise sales activities, retail management tasks, and marketing efforts to promote studio services effectively
  • Conduct interviewing, recruiting, onboarding, training & development to build a high-performing team
  • Handle payroll processing, bookkeeping, cash handling, and POS transactions with accuracy and integrity
  • Implement pricing strategies, merchandising standards, and promotional campaigns to maximize revenue
  • Monitor budget adherence and assist in financial planning through budgeting skills
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols, phone etiquette standards, and organizational policies

Experience

  • Proven management experience in a retail or service environment with supervisory responsibilities
  • Demonstrated expertise in team management, leadership, and employee development
  • Strong background in customer service excellence and retail sales strategies
  • Experience with inventory control, purchasing processes, and POS systems
  • Skilled in negotiation, marketing initiatives, and store merchandising techniques
  • Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable for effective communication with diverse clients and staff
  • Familiarity with retail math, sales management tools, cash handling procedures, and retail store operations
  • Prior assistant manager or supervisory experience within a grocery store or similar retail setting is preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills combined with time management proficiency to handle multiple priorities efficiently

*This is a generous commission based role to start, which is dependent on sales/rentals you bring in to the production studio and event space.
