POSITION OVERVIEW

Canvas & Co. Studio is seeking a dependable, creative, and tech-savvy Studio Production & Tech Support Specialist to assist with podcast production, studio operations, content creation support, editing, and overall client experience.

This role is ideal for someone with experience in podcast production, cameras, lighting, audio/video editing, and studio technology. The ideal candidate is proactive, professional, solution-oriented, and able to independently troubleshoot production-related issues during client sessions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Prepare podcast rooms and studio spaces prior to client sessions

· Set up microphones, cameras, lighting, and recording equipment

· Ensure audio and video recordings are captured properly and meet studio quality standards

· Monitor recording sessions and troubleshoot technical or production issues during sessions

· Assist clients with setup, production flow, and technical guidance during recordings

· Edit podcast episodes, short-form content, and studio media deliverables

· Export, organize, and deliver client files within designated turnaround times

· Maintain and organize studio equipment, microphones, cables, cameras, lighting equipment, and recording systems

· Independently troubleshoot mid-level technical, audio, video, and production-related issues during client sessions

· Report damaged equipment or technical concerns to management

· Provide a welcoming and professional client experience

· Monitor studio emails and social media inquiries when assigned

· Assist with behind-the-scenes content capture during sessions or studio events

· Support studio social media and promotional content efforts

· Assist with creating, editing, or mocking up graphics, photos, videos, reels, or promotional content when needed

· Work closely with staff and management to support daily studio operations

QUALIFICATIONS & SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS

· Experience with podcast production, cameras, lighting equipment, and content creation is required

· Experience operating microphones, audio interfaces, cameras, and recording systems is required

· Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and/or Final Cut Pro is required

· Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite applications, including Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator, After Effects, and InDesign preferred

· Ability to independently troubleshoot mid-level technical, audio, video, and production-related issues during client sessions

· Familiarity with Google Workspace (Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, Calendar, etc.) required

· Experience using Dropbox or similar cloud-based file sharing systems preferred

· Strong communication and customer service skills

· Organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment

· Ability to work professionally with creators, entrepreneurs, and business owners during sessions

· Experience creating, editing, or mocking up graphics, photos, videos, reels, or promotional content is a plus

· Passion for podcasting, content creation, photography, media production, or creative industries preferred

Pay: $15.00 per hour
