Subject Matter Expert - English(CBSE, ICSE)

Job Summary

The SME – English is responsible for developing high-quality academic content, reviewing manuscripts, ensuring curriculum alignment, and supporting the creation of engaging learning materials. The role requires a strong command of English language concepts, excellent writing/editing skills, and the ability to create error-free, student-friendly content.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and edit English academic content for classes (as per requirement – K–12 / Competitive Exams).
• Ensure all content aligns with syllabus guidelines (CBSE/ICSE/State Boards).
• Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, question banks, and answer keys.
• Improve existing content by making it more engaging, accurate, and learner-centric.
• Collaborate with the design and editorial teams for layout, visuals, and formatting.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure grammatical accuracy and concept clarity.
• Provide subject expertise during product development and teacher training (if required).
• Stay updated with changes in curriculum trends and modern teaching methodologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Postgraduate degree in English, Literature, Education, or related field.
• Strong command over grammar, vocabulary, and English pedagogy.
• Proven experience as SME, Teacher, Content Writer, or Editor (preferred).
• Ability to simplify complex concepts for students.
• Excellent written communication and attention to detail.
• Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, Google Workspace).

Preferred Attributes

• Experience in K–12 content development.
• Familiarity with NCERT/CBSE curriculum.
• Creative mindset and ability to meet deadlines.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
