Subject Matter Expert (SME) – Remote – Minimum Public Trust (NACI) clearance

OM Group’s is seeking a Subject Matter Expert (SME) that is a specialized technical advisor that is available to the government and contract team on an as-needed basis. Provides deep expertise in production-grade Power BI engineering, Palantir Foundry, and applied LLM/automation tooling, with minimal but continuous availability throughout the period of performance.

Responsibilities

Serves as a resource to share their expertise with the government and the contract team.
Remain accessible for ad hoc team inquiries; minimal scheduled involvement is expected by design.
Provide subject-matter guidance on Palantir Foundry, Microsoft Fabric, and applied LLM/automation approaches where relevant to MPBI products.
Advise the contract team on complex Power BI architecture, CI/CD (Azure DevOps), automated testing, and governance questions.

Requirements

Microsoft Valuable Professional (MVP) for the data Platform, 2 years.
2 years of Palantir Foundry experience.

PowerBI Certification.

Demonstrate production-grade Power BI engineering background, including CI/CD with Azure DevOps, automated testing, and governance for large-scale or regulated environments.

Ability to apply LLMs, Microsoft Fabric, and automation tooling.

Compensation will be determined based on several factors, including relevant experience, education, skills, certifications, and market conditions, with an expected range of $130,000 to $150,000.
