Subsea Pipeline Engineer

🚀 We’re Hiring a Subsea Pipeline Engineer! 🚀

Are you passionate about technical challenges and eager to play a key role in offshore installation projects? We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Subsea Pipeline Engineer to join our team!

Your Responsibilities:

Technical Design and Analysis:

• Perform and supervise offshore pipeline and cable design analysis, ensuring structural integrity and compliance with project requirements.
• Conduct advanced engineering calculations, including:
• Pipeline wall thickness sizing
• On-bottom stability analysis
• Pipeline expansion and stress analysis
• Fatigue and Vortex-Induced Vibration (VIV) analysis
• On-bottom roughness evaluation
• Pipeline crossing and walking analysis
• Dropped object and fishing interaction assessment
• Material Take-Off (MTO) preparation

Project Preparation and Technical Deliverables:

• Prepare and review technical reports, specifications, and drawings for pipeline systems and related components.
• Verify subcontracted engineering work to ensure compliance with project standards.
• Prepare technical specifications and material requisitions for procurement.
• Oversee bid evaluation and procurement phases for materials and services.

Project Management and Coordination:

• Review client technical documentation and requirements to ensure alignment with engineering deliverables.
• Assist in the preparation of technical qualifications and proposals for EPCI contracts.
• Contribute to the improvement of department tools and engineering standards for subsea pipeline design.
• Support the definition and implementation of quality procedures for the department.

What We’re Looking For:

🎓 Degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Ocean Engineering.

💼 5+ years of experience in offshore pipeline design and subsea structure engineering.

🌍 Technical Skills: Proficiency in engineering calculation software (DNV Software Suite, AutoPipe, MathCad, Orcaflex, AutoCAD/Microstation).

🤝 Soft Skills: Strong leadership and teamwork skills; experience in leading small teams is a plus.
