Summary

The selected Nurse will play a vital role in supporting clients on their journey to better health, providing skilled nursing care in a safe and welcoming environment. In this role you will help monitor client progress, manage medication administration, and ensure continuity of care that supports lasting recovery.

Job Duties

• Complete assigned nursing schedule visits in-person or via telehealth if approved by Management.
• Capture expected nursing service hours.
• Efficiently complete EHR documentation.
• Perform IM depot injections.
• Perform venipuncture.
• Obtain vital signs.
• Perform direct observation of urine specimen collection for substance use screening and monitoring.
• Conduct client skills groups as required.
• Comply with Company policies and procedures.
• Ensure Joint Commission compliance.
• Float to other facilities as requested.
• Attend and participate in continuing education, online training, and staff meetings.
• Educate clients by providing direction and guidance in a professional manner.
• Cultivate effective and respectful rapport with clients and staff.
• Maintain confidentiality of client’s pertinent health information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
• Perform other duties as requested within the RN licensure standards.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN in the State of Ohio.
• Must possess a valid CPR/BLS Certification or be willing to obtain certification during orientation.
• Must carry out detailed written and oral instructions, along with the ability to understand human behavior.
• Must maintain a professional demeanor while dealing with emotionally charged individuals and issues.
• Must have the ability to work harmoniously with others.
• Must be able to make decisions at times with imperfect information.
• This position may require the use of a Company or personal vehicle. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license and possess the ability to comply with company auto insurance policy.
