About The Role
Bison Health provides outpatient substance use disorder treatment and case management delivered via telehealth. We keep client loads small so you can go beyond group facilitation and truly support people in rebuilding their lives, whether that means helping someone secure housing, apply for benefits, build a resume, or practice for a job interview. We give you the time, tools, and trust to create meaningful change.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a small-team, startup environment and is comfortable working independently, without all the systems in place. Because this role is remote, you should be confident using Zoom and other virtual tools. Experience in both group facilitation and case management is required.
You will facilitate evening IOP or OP groups, provide one-on-one counseling sessions, and complete SUD assessments, including court-related assessments. This role also includes communicating with attorneys, courts, and other referral partners to support client care.
As a new and growing agency, your voice matters here. You’ll help build our programs, shape our culture, and define what exceptional care looks like.
Hours: The hours will be 1 pm-9 pm. Late evening availability is required to run night groups and accommodate client needs.
Core Principle
- Relentless Advocacy: doing whatever it takes to make sure your client gets the support they need to succeed
We want people who are obsessed with this work. You should apply if you are energized by meaningful work, hold yourself to a high standard, take ownership, and want to be part of a fast-moving, mission-driven team.

- Complete timely documentation: Complete all documentation in line with agency and state standards, within 24 hours.
- Engage with clients' support systems: Including family members, friends, or caseworkers, when clinically appropriate, to better understand client needs and enhance individualized care planning.
- Be proactive: Follow up with clients who miss appointments to let them know they’re seen, valued, and not alone, and work with them to remove obstacles and re-engage in care, no matter how small the step forward may be.
- Be a team player: Attend weekly meetings with supervisors, peers, and leadership.
