Substitute Childcare Teacher

We are seeking substitute teachers to work in our center.
Hours will vary, the center is open 6:45 am - 5:30 pm. We will reach out when a staff member will be absent and offer you the hours. You will be needed approximately 3 days per week, sometimes more.

The Gallian Center is licensed by the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS), and a 4 Star TRS provider. We have low teacher/child ratios.

During the academic year, our program serves children ages 6 weeks– 5 years.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• Able to report on short notice
• No problem getting their hands dirty and spending time outside with the children
• Able and willing to move around interacting with the children throughout the day
• Always put the best interest of the children first above everything else
• Professional work ethic
• Excited about working in an amazing high-quality child care program with a great team of professionals

The Gallian Center follows the Denton ISD Teacher work schedule. This position is great for someone that wants to work only when they are available.
