Substitute Classroom Teachers - All Grades

Substitute teachers are placed on-call, with no guarantee of days/hours per week. Qualifications-Maine Department of Education valid fingerprinting and CHRC approval-Maine State Law requires ALL school employees to be fingerprinted and pass a Criminal History Record Check (CHRC)-Proof of fingerprinting for your CHRC MUST be brought to your on boarding meeting to be considered-For more information about Maines Criminal History Record Check (CHRC) requirements, please see the Maine Department of Education website at https://www.maine.gov/doe/cert/fingerprinting . -Current CHRC approval certificate is required prior to working as a sub. Interviews are conducted periodically throughout the year depending on need and schedule availability.Job Description: Provide classroom coverage on an as-needed basis throughout the district, grade levels, and content areas.
