Substitute Teacher

Qualified Substitute Teachers needed in the Newport School District to fill day to day positions. Minimum education level is a bachelor's degree to get an emergency certification. Rate of pay is $115-$140 per day, paid through Substitute Teacher Service Inc. We are seeking a dedicated Substitute Teacher to join our team in providing quality educational support across various school districts. Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons that align with the curriculum
• Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a conducive learning environment
• Adapt teaching methods to meet diverse student needs
• Collaborate with school staff to ensure smooth transitions for students
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff
• Implement lesson plans provided by regular teachers
• Foster a safe and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
• Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (required)
• Valid teaching certification or substitute teaching permit (required)
• Strong skills in curriculum development and lesson planning (high)
• Experience in classroom management and behavior management (high)
• Excellent communication skills (somewhat)
• Familiarity with special education practices (somewhat)
• Previous experience working with children in an educational setting (somewhat)
