Teacher: Middle School Resource Room Teacher

Ottawa USD 290 is seeking a dedicated and passionate Middle School Resource Room Teacher to join our team at Ottawa Middle School. This position is available for a mid-year start on January 5, 2026.

In this role, you will provide tailored instructional support to students with diverse learning needs, ensuring they have the tools to succeed in a general education environment. You will be responsible for developing and implementing IEPs, adapting curriculum, and monitoring student progress.

Key Requirements:

• Valid Kansas Teaching License with appropriate Special Education endorsement.
• Dependability and collaboration are essential to success; you will work closely with families, administrators, and general education staff.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to student-centered learning.
