Substitute Teacher for Childcare Ministry

The ideal candidate should be prepared to be called in for both scheduled and unscheduled absences in any of our age groups, ranging from infants to 4/5-year-olds. Substitutes must be able to arrive at work on time for unscheduled absences. Flexibility is necessary, as you will need to work between 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Candidates should be able to sit, stand, squat, and lift to 50 pounds throughout the workday. Additionally, you must be at least 21 years old to substitute in all our classrooms.

Ideally, this candidate would already be enrolled in a CDA program or some other post-secondary program with an emphasis on Early Childhood Education. But anyone with a heart for children and their families is encouraged to apply.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 – 30 per week
