What you’ll do

• Deliver engaging lessons based on provided curriculum plans and adapt them as necessary to meet students' needs.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively, ensuring a respectful and productive learning environment.
• Provide support for students with diverse learning needs, including those with special education requirements or autism.
• Foster communication with students to encourage participation and understanding of lesson material.
• Collaborate with school staff to implement effective classroom management strategies.
• Supervise students during activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance during your assignments.
• Support literacy and math education through targeted instructional strategies.

Basic qualifications

• Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, staff, and parents.

Preferred qualifications

• Background in early childhood education or childhood development.
• Familiarity with curriculum development and lesson planning techniques.
• Experience in private school settings or Montessori environments is a plus.
• Knowledge of behavior management techniques to support diverse learners.
• Experience in tutoring or providing individualized support for students.

Pay: $25.20 - $30.35 per hour
