Summer Camp Counselor

Job Summary
Join the Kidzercise Summer Camp team and help bring energy, fitness, and fun to life for kids all summer long! As a Summer Camp Counselor, you’ll create a positive, high-energy environment where children stay active through sports, fitness games, and exciting field trips. This role is perfect for someone who loves working with kids and is passionate about promoting health, movement, and confidence in a fun and supportive setting.

Duties

• Lead and supervise children during daily camp activities, ensuring safety and engagement at all times
• Plan and facilitate high-energy activities including sports, fitness games, group challenges, and outdoor play
• Assist with and chaperone fun and organized field trips
• Encourage teamwork, participation, and positive behavior through effective management techniques
• Promote an active lifestyle by leading structured fitness-based activities
• Provide basic first aid when needed and respond quickly to any safety concerns
• Work closely with other staff to create exciting daily schedules and themed camp days
• Communicate with parents/guardians as needed regarding camper experiences

Requirements

• Experience working with children (camp, daycare, coaching, babysitting, etc.) preferred
• Passion for fitness, sports, and keeping kids active
• Strong leadership and group management skills
• First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Energetic, positive, and reliable with strong communication skills
• Ability to create a fun, inclusive, and motivating environment for all campers

Pay: $15.92 - $17.00 per hour
