Summer Camp Counselor/Driver

Teachers/Summer Counselors are responsible for maintaining a safe, educational and fun environment for children in care.

Some of their typical duties include:

• Creating and Implementing Lesson Plans
• Organizing activities and developing curriculum for older children
• Following a daily schedule that includes activities necessary for optimal health and development
• Creating quality interactions with students to impact their learning
• Helping with personal care as necessary (i.e bathroom, diapering)
• Cleaning interactive areas throughout the day
• Serving meals and snacks to the students
• Keeping records of each child’s progress, interests and any problems that may occur
• Maintaining contact with the children’s parents and contacting them in the case of an emergency
• Transporting children to and from homes, schools and field trips

Minimum Qualifications:

* 1 year of Program Experience

*10 + years of Driving Experience

* High school Diploma or GED

* CDA or College Credits preferred; payrate based on experience and education
