Summer Camp Teacher

Job Summary:
We are seeking enthusiastic and responsible individuals to join our team as Summer Camp Teacher. As a Camp Teacher, you will play a vital role in creating a fun and safe environment for children to learn and grow. This is a paid position that offers valuable experience in working with children and the opportunity to make a positive impact on their lives.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise and engage campers in various activities, including sports, arts and crafts, theater, and outdoor games
- Plan and lead age-appropriate activities that promote physical, social, and emotional development
- Ensure the safety and well-being of campers at all times
- Assist with meal times, including serving food and monitoring dietary restrictions
- Provide guidance and support to campers in resolving conflicts or challenges
- Collaborate with other camp staff to create a positive and inclusive camp environment
- Maintain accurate records of camper attendance and behavior

Skills:
- Classroom management: Ability to effectively manage a group of children in a structured setting
- Sports coaching: Experience in coaching or leading sports activities for children
- Childhood development: Understanding of child development principles and age-appropriate activities
- Daycare or special education experience: Familiarity with working with children with diverse needs
- Education or tutoring experience: Ability to provide academic support and assistance to campers
- Babysitting: Experience in caring for children in a one-on-one setting
- Theater: Knowledge of theater arts and ability to lead drama activities for campers
