Three Train Studios is a Christian animation and film studio focused on creating meaningful, story-driven content that brings light into darkness.

Interns will gain real production experience working on active animated film and series projects.

This opportunity is designed for students or emerging filmmakers looking to build portfolio work, gain credits, and collaborate on a real production pipeline.

Role Overview

We are seeking motivated Film Production Team Interns to assist in various stages of animated film production.

Interns will work alongside directors, storyboard artists, animators, and editors to help bring projects from concept to completion.

Responsibilities

• Assist with shot planning and scene breakdowns
• Help organize production files and folders
• Support storyboard and animatic review processes
• Assist with reference gathering and visual research
• Participate in creative meetings and feedback sessions
• Help track production progress and deadlines
• Support video editing or basic post-production tasks (if skilled)

Time Commitment

• 8–12 hours per week
• Flexible schedule
• Remote collaboration
• 2 - 3 month commitment preferred

Requirements

• Film, animation, or media students (or equivalent experience)
• Strong interest in film production or directing
• Basic understanding of story structure and camera shots
• Reliable communication
• Ability to follow production guidelines

Portfolio or examples of work preferred but not required.
