Summer Housekeeper (Part Time)

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Hotel Albatross. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff. This position requires an individual with experience in hotel or industrial cleaning, as well as a strong commitment to high standards of cleanliness and hospitality.

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and facilities, adhering to established cleanliness standards.
• Be able to flip rooms in a timely manner to ensure all guests can check in at the standard 3pm check in time.
• Conduct floor care including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces.
• Manage housekeeping supplies and inventory to ensure adequate stock levels for daily operations.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Assist in the training of new housekeeping staff on best practices and procedures.
• Maintain a positive attitude while providing exceptional service to guests and responding to their needs.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or industrial cleaning preferred.
• Knowledge of housekeeping management practices and custodial duties.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated time frames.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills and a friendly demeanor towards guests and fellow staff members.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
