Summer Intern, Data Scientist

Are you excited to explore and interpret complex datasets to influence strategic decisions? We're looking for enthusiastic and driven 4th-year university students to join our Data Science team as summer interns!

As a Data Science Intern at Peak, you will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced professionals in the field, gaining valuable hands-on experience and contributing to real-world projects in the mobile gaming industry.

What you’ll do during your internship

• Analyze data from sources like player behavior, in-game metrics, and market trends
• Develop predictive models, machine learning algorithms, and data-driven solutions
• Conduct exploratory analysis to uncover insights and guide strategy
• Support A/B testing, cohort analysis, and user segmentation
• Create dashboards and reports to share findings with stakeholders
• Experiment with new tools and techniques in data science and analytics

What we're looking for

• Currently enrolled in university, in your 4th year of studies
• Available to work full-time at our Istanbul office for 8 weeks during summer 2026
• Proficiency in Python and SQLFoundational knowledge of statistics and machine learning concepts
• Strong interest in data science and its applications in gaming
• Personal projects demonstrating practical data science or analytics skills are a plus

Hiring process

The internship period will be between July 1st and August 28th, 2026. Once you have been selected, you will get a technical assignment through HackerRank to assess your engineering skills.

Following your assessments the next steps will be:

• Online HR & Tech interview
• Online final interview
