We are seeking an organized and proactive Human Resources intern to join our team this summer. This opportunity offers hands-on experience supporting business operations and managing projects in a fast-paced environment. You’ll work closely with experienced professionals to coordinate tasks, streamline processes, and contribute to initiatives that drive efficiency and achieve organizational goals. This role will help develop strong communication, planning, and problem-solving skills while gaining exposure to real-world business strategies and project execution.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Intern, Human Resources
  • Support project management activities, including tracking timelines, deliverables, and milestones for HR initiatives and programs.
  • Assist in coordinating and communicating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure progress on HR initiatives, projects and programs.
  • Help facilitate communication between HR team members, managers, and employees, draft internal messages or updates for HR programs and employee engagement activities.
  • Assist in creating and organizing reports, presentations, and HR-related materials for meetings and leadership reviews.
  • Participate in the implementation and evaluation of HR processes, policies, and improvement initiatives.
  • Contribute to the organization and execution of HR-led events, training sessions, and team activities.
  • Learn and apply project management, HR and business administration tools (such as Microsoft Project, Excel, or SharePoint) in a professional setting.
  • Assist in identifying process improvements and supporting change management efforts within the organization.
  • Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in handling sensitive employee and business information and records.

Skills and Experience of the Intern, Human Resources

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • Foundational knowledge of project management and business operations.
  • Proficiency in office productivity tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and project management software.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to multi-task, adapt to ambiguity, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to confidentiality and professional integrity.
  • Willingness to learn new HR systems, business technologies and project management methodologies.
Details:
  • Pay for this position with be $25/hour
  • Interns will be located in our NYC office on a hybrid schedule. The intern must live within commutable distance to the office and provide own housing. A housing stipend or relocation assistance will not be offered.
  • The duration of our program is 10 weeks, beginning on Wednesday, May 27, 2026
  • Candidates must be enrolled full-time in an undergraduate course of study and be rising senior (senior commencing Fall 2026) with a minimum GPA of 3.3 and be eligible to work in the US.
