Position Overview

This work supports HEDIS, the Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set, which is the national framework used to assess how effectively health plans provide preventive care, chronic condition management, and other essential services.
During the internship, the student will contribute to improving how quality data is accessed and used across the department, which may include designing components of a self‑service analytics resource, developing tools that streamline data request workflows, or helping create more efficient ways to track and monitor information needs. The intern will gain hands‑on experience with healthcare analytics, data preparation, visualization, and user‑focused solution design.
