Summer Nanny (Whitefish Bay, WI)

We are seeking a caring, reliable, and engaging summer nanny to join our family and primarily care for our toddler, with occasional care for our infant. This role is ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys working with young children and creating a fun, safe, and nurturing environment.

Responsibilities:

- Provide attentive, hands-on care for our toddler throughout the day

- Occasionally assist with care for our infant as needed

- Plan and engage in age-appropriate activities (outdoor play, crafts, reading, etc.)

- Prepare simple meals and snacks for the children

- Maintain a consistent routine (meals, naps, playtime)

- Light tidying related to the children (toys, dishes, etc.)

- Ensure a safe and stimulating environment at all times

- Take our toddler to local activities (parks, classes, playdates), either by walking or driving

Qualifications:

- Prior childcare experience required (nannying, daycare, preschool/Pre-K, or similar)

- Comfortable caring for both a toddler and infant

- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license

- Comfortable around dogs (we have a friendly family dog)

- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy

- Warm, patient, and engaging personality

- Strong references (will be checked)

Preferred (but not required):

- CPR/First Aid certification

- Experience caring for multiple young children

- Background in early childhood education

Details:

- Summer position (mid-June-August)

- Hours: 8:30am - 4pm

- Location: Whitefish Bay, WI

- Pay: $15/hr minimum (flexible based on experience)

We’re looking for someone who will feel like an extension of our family and help make summer fun, active, and enriching for our kids.

Job Type: Temporary

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
