We are a locally owned after-school and summer enrichment program dedicated to teaching STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math) and sports and movement to students in grades K–12. We’ve taught over 1,100 students across Oʻahu and are growing our impact through hands-on, engaging, and creative learning experiences.

Summary
We’re looking for caring and enthusiastic part-time program assistants to support with on-site classroom logistics at public and private schools across the island and primarily around Honolulu. This is a great role for anyone who loves working with young children and wants to make a positive impact through tech and movement education — no coding experience required (we train you!).

• Each class is 1-2 hours and range from 7:30AM to 3:30PM, Monday through Friday
• You will be assisting at least 3 classes based on availability and scheduling needs
• Course examples: Hacking & Cybersecurity; Build & Tinker; Flag Football League; K-Pop Dance

Compensation:

• $17 to $20 an hour
• Semester long-commitment (June to August)

General Duties

• Support lead teachers with class subjects (curriculum provided)
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
• Ensure teachers and students have necessary materials during class times
• Move equipment to and from classrooms
• Communicate with school staff, Keiki Coders and Keiki Athletes team
• Substitute for lead teachers when needed

Qualifications

• At least two years of college coursework (48 semester units), an associate’s degree or higher, or proof of certification through a local assessment that meets the requirements of the "Every Student Succeeds Act"
• Experience working with young children (K–12) in any setting: teaching, tutoring, camps, etc.
• Passion for education, creativity, movement and inspiring kids
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Reliable transportation to get to assigned school sites
• Availability on at least 3 days between 7:30 PM - 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday
• Ability to lift and carry 20-40 lbs. with or without accommodations.
• Valid driver’s license or State ID.
• Must pass background check (DOE or private school requirements)

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
