Job Title: Summer Shelving Page, Part-time;
(May 27th, 2026 – July 31st, 2026)
Job Description/Responsibilities: Do you consider yourself helpful and friendly? Whether you’re on break from high school, college, or simply looking for a meaningful way to fill your time, this summer opportunity may be the perfect fit for you! The Anderson Public Library is looking for a committed Summer Shelving Page to join our team during our busy Summer Reading months! You’ll help serve our diverse community by working with the Circulation Services department to shelve returned library materials, check assigned shelves for neatness, shift shelves/collections as needed, and prepare carts of returned materials for shelving. Qualifications Working toward or has obtained a high school diploma.
Salary: $13.41 per hour
Schedule: 15 hours per week, including some nights and weekends

Typically performs work sitting in an office that requires frequent walking, light lifting, carrying, bending, grasping, pushing, and other limited physical activities. Requires frequent sustained physical operation of computer, office, and printing equipment, with frequent in-person and phone contacts with customers and library staff.
