Summer Toddler Teacher (Part-Time, M–F 8AM–1PM)

Pay: $15.00 – $18.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Dates: June – August (potential to continue long-term)

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable, nurturing teacher to work with children ages 1–3 in our toddler classroom this summer.

This is a calm, structured Montessori environment focused on independence, consistency, and respectful guidance—not a high-energy daycare setting.

What You’ll Do

• Support the morning routine (arrival, work cycle, snack, outdoor play)
• Assist with diapering, toileting, and basic care needs
• Maintain a calm, organized classroom environment
• Engage children through simple, purposeful activities
• Ensure safety and provide consistent supervision
• Help reset the classroom before dismissal

Pay Scale (Based on Credentials)

• $15/hr — No credentials
• $16/hr — DCF 45 hours
• $17/hr — CDA
• $18/hr — VPK credential

Qualifications

• Experience with young children preferred
• DCF 45 hours (or willingness to complete within 90 days)
• CPR/First Aid (or willingness to obtain)
• Must pass Level II background screening
• Must be 18+
