SUMMER TRADES APPRENTICE-HIGH SCHOOL

Summary

The Summer Trades Apprentice must have a desire to learn multiple trades done in a commercial facility. This includes HVAC-R, plumbing, electrical (low and high voltage), painting/drywall repair/installation. Additional responsibilities may include but are not limited to responding to all guest requests and ensuring that all major equipment is operating properly at all times. This is a fast paced position that will involve heavy lifting and excessive standing and walking.

Qualifications
Must be able to lift 50lbs repeatedly
Must be comfortable on a ladder up to 20ft
Must be able to work in hot, cold, and wet situations
Ability to learn how to navigate computer programs that operate equipment
Ability to learn to read technical literature
MUST BE PARTICIPANT IN COUNTY-WIDE SUMMER CAREERS ACADEMY
