Summer/Help Yard Laborer

Yard laborer needed for construction company. This position will be a temporary summer help position perfect for a college student home for the summer or a 2026 HS grad. Applicants must undergo and pass a pre-drug screen and are subject to random drug screening per DOT standards.

Job will consist of working outside in the elements (rain, shine). Crews may not work due to weather but the yard is responsible for making sure the crew are ready to roll out the next day. You will be required to operate equipment to unload/load trucks. Job requires the use of heavy machinery to pull and stage construction materials. You will be required to move trailers in the yard, so previous trailer experience is a plus. This position is to support the FT team members as necessary each day as well as yard cleanup tasks.

Previous experience operating bobcats, skytracks, backhoes, excavator, tractors, or hilos is a plus. Applicants must be mechanically inclined and have basic knowledge of the construction industry. Applicants must be able to lift at least 100 lbs and be prepared to bend, stand, sit for 10-12 hours a day. Hours will be as needed daily with 25-30 hours na week consistently and the occasional 40+ as needed.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
