Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with warmth and enthusiasm, providing exceptional customer service from the moment they arrive
• Manage guest seating arrangements efficiently to minimize wait times and optimize flow during busy periods
• Coordinate and oversee special events or themed activities, ensuring smooth execution and guest enjoyment
• Handle guest inquiries, resolve conflicts promptly, and maintain a positive environment for all visitors
• Assist with food service operations when needed, including taking orders and ensuring timely delivery of refreshments
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the hostess stand and surrounding areas to uphold high standards of hospitality
• Support with cash handling duties during events or special occasions, accurately processing payments and managing receipts

Qualifications

• Proven experience in guest services, hospitality, or event management with a passion for creating memorable experiences
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle challenging situations gracefully
• Excellent communication skills; comfortable with public speaking and engaging with diverse audiences
• Background in food service or resort environments is highly desirable
• Experience working with children or in theater settings adds valuable versatility to your skill set
• Lifeguard certification or experience is a plus, demonstrating safety awareness and responsibility
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a lively, energetic demeanor
