We are seeking a high-level Electrical Superintendent (20 + years experience) to lead project teams across multiple states. This position requires extensive electrical knowledge, proven leadership, and a commitment to safety, quality, and performance. You’ll manage field operations, coordinate with project managers and contractors, and ensure successful completion of complex electrical installations.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Representation: Serve as a professional representative of Pioneer Electric Group, leading field teams with integrity, accountability, and clear communication.
- Project Planning & Coordination: Pre-plan and organize daily and long-term project activities, including layout, scheduling, manpower, and workflow to ensure efficiency and safety.
- Field Management: Supervise crews and subcontractors, oversee installations, and maintain quality, productivity, and compliance with NEC, OSHA, and project specifications.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate reports, drawings, and daily logs in PROCORE, including job progress, inspections, safety forms, and time tracking.
- Scheduling & Execution: Develop short-term look-ahead schedules, track milestones, and adjust manpower or work hours to meet project demands and deadlines.
- Material & Resource Management: Coordinate with distributors and material handlers to control inventory, minimize waste, and manage returns efficiently.
- Communication & Collaboration: Work closely with the Executive Project Manager and site leadership to review progress, resolve issues, and drive project success.
- Conflict Resolution & Accountability: Address performance or behavior issues promptly, document incidents, and uphold company policies with fairness and consistency.
- Adaptability: Take on additional tasks as needed to support project goals and company growth in a dynamic work environment.
What We’re Looking For
- 20+ years of electrical field experience, including 10+ years in a supervisory or superintendent role.
- Strong knowledge of NEC, OSHA, and commercial/industrial electrical systems.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver’s license required
- Journeyman or master electrician license preferred.
- Willingness to travel full-time and manage remote project teams.
