Superintendent – Marine & Heavy Civil Construction

portfolio includes turnkey marina construction, piers, seawalls, bridges, docks, pile
driving, shoreline revetments, structural concrete, and specialty marine

Our superintendents run the jobs. They are the direct line between Project Managers
and field crews, responsible for execution, production, safety, and maintaining strong
relationships with clients in the field.
What This Role Looks Like:
Lead day-to-day field operations on projects ranging from $100,000 to
$20,000,000+
Manage crews typically ranging from 3 to 15+ personnel
Coordinate directly with PMs, engineers, inspectors, and clients
Plan work, maintain high production, and adjust to real-time field conditions
Maintain a safe jobsite as the number one priority above all else
Communicate regularly with PMs on production, sequencing, and opportunities to
accelerate the schedule
Participate in progress meetings and represent the company professionally
Maintain daily reports including timekeeping, job logs, pile logs, and short-term
lookahead schedules
Step in hands-on when needed to keep work moving
Current & Upcoming Work (2026–2027)
Large-scale marina construction by barge
Seawall and shoreline stabilization projects
Bridge and heavy civil marine structures
Complex over-water work involving cranes, barges, and marine logistics
Required Experience & Skills:
Minimum 10 years of experience in marine or heavy civil construction
Trade-based, hands-on background with real field progression, not a “hardhat-
only” position
Proven ability to run projects independently from start to finish
Strong working knowledge of:
o Pile driving and deep foundations
o Marine construction equipment including barges, tugs, and cranes
o Working in tidal environments, weather exposure, and active waterways
Comfortable with basic field technology including tablets, daily logs, and reporting
OSHA 30 certification strongly preferred
Ability to run boats, push barges, and operate heavy equipment preferred; crane
experience is a plus
Strong understanding of jobsite safety, accountability, and crew management
