Job Description:

We are seeking a dependable and customer-oriented delivery driver who owns their own scooter. In this role, the candidate will play a vital part in delivering an exceptional shopping experience by ensuring timely and accurate deliveries to our valued customers.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Order Delivery:

• Collect orders from Golden Cart and deliver them promptly to customers across Sharjah and Dubai.

• Verify delivery addresses to ensure accurate and complete delivery of items.

2. Customer Interaction:

• Represent Golden Cart professionally, providing friendly and courteous service during deliveries.

• Address customer questions or concerns and escalate issues to the Delivery Manager when necessary.

3. Order Accuracy:

• Cross-check orders to ensure all items are included and properly packed before leaving the store.

• Handle products carefully to maintain their quality during transit.

4. Vehicle Maintenance:

• Maintain your scooter in good working condition, ensuring compliance with all safety and legal standards.

• Keep your vehicle clean and fuelled for daily operations.

5. Compliance and Safety:

• Adhere to all traffic rules and regulations to ensure safe deliveries.

• Follow Golden Cart’s policies and procedures for handling deliveries.

6. Reporting:

• Communicate effectively with the Delivery Manager regarding delays, delivery status, or any challenges.

• Submit daily delivery logs or required documentation on time.

Requirements:

• Prior delivery experience is mandatory.

• Valid UAE motorcycle license.

• Must own a reliable and roadworthy scooter.

• Must own smartphone with data to schedule routes.

• Excellent time management and navigation skills.

• Strong customer service and communication abilities.

• Familiarity with necessary routes and traffic patterns is an advantage.

• Ability to handle a range of products, including groceries, safely and efficiently.

• Comfortable working outdoors and in various weather conditions.
