Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day café operations to ensure smooth and efficient service
- Lead, motivate, and support baristas, servers, cashiers, and shift staff
- Maintain premium service standards and deliver exceptional guest experiences
- Monitor beverage and food quality, presentation, and consistency
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and service recovery professionally
- Coordinate staff schedules, attendance, shift coverage, and break management
- Train and coach team members on service standards, product knowledge, and operational procedures
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
- Monitor inventory levels, stock ordering, wastage control, and supplier coordination
- Support sales growth through upselling, promotions, and operational improvements
- Oversee cash handling, POS operations, daily reports, and closing procedures
- Conduct regular inspections to maintain cleanliness, maintenance, and visual standards
- Collaborate with management on performance targets and operational goals
Requirements
- Previous supervisory experience in premium cafés, restaurants, or hospitality environments
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Good understanding of café operations, specialty coffee service, and hospitality standards
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Experience with POS systems, inventory control, and reporting
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma or certification in Hospitality Management or related field
- Experience in luxury hospitality or multi-branch café operations
- Knowledge of specialty coffee and premium food service
- Multilingual communication skills
