A Dairy Animal Husbandry Supervisor focuses on the care, management, and welfare of dairy animals, primarily cows. Their responsibilities typically include:

  • Animal Health Monitoring:
  • Regularly checking the health and well-being of dairy animals.
  • Identifying signs of illness or distress and coordinating with veterinarians for treatment.
  • Feeding and Nutrition:
  • Developing and implementing feeding programs to ensure the animals receive proper nutrition.
  • Managing feed inventory and quality.
  • Breeding Management:
  • Overseeing breeding programs to ensure the quality and productivity of the herd.
  • Monitoring reproductive health and assisting with artificial insemination or natural breeding processes.
  • Milk Production Supervision:
  • Ensuring optimal milk production by maintaining the health and comfort of the animals.
  • Overseeing milking procedures and equipment to maintain hygiene and efficiency.
  • Staff Supervision:
  • Managing a team of farmworkers responsible for daily care tasks, including feeding, cleaning, and milking.
  • Training staff on best practices for animal care and welfare.
  • Record Keeping:
  • Maintaining detailed records on animal health, breeding, milk production, and feeding schedules.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
