- Team Leadership & Training: Supervise bakers, decorators, and counter staff; schedule shifts; train new hires; resolve conflicts; foster a positive environment.
- Production & Quality Control: Ensure consistent quality, taste, and presentation; monitor baking processes (mixing, proofing, baking, decorating) to standards; develop new recipes.
- Inventory & Ordering: Manage stock levels, order supplies, minimize waste, and ensure proper storage and rotation of ingredients.
- Operations & Compliance: Maintain cleanliness; uphold health, hygiene, and safety regulations (HACCP/food safety); oversee equipment maintenance.
- Customer Service: Handle complaints, provide exceptional service, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Sales & Reporting: Monitor sales, implement promotional ideas, and report to management to meet business goals.
