Mechanical Engineer - with Rigging/ Lifting Expereince

Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Supervisor with strong rigging and lifting supervision experience for industrial, oil & gas, steel manufacturing, or construction projects. The candidate should be capable of supervising mechanical activities, coordinating lifting operations, ensuring safety compliance, and leading manpower efficiently at site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise mechanical installation, maintenance, and lifting activities at site.
• Plan and coordinate rigging and heavy lifting operations safely and efficiently.
• Ensure all lifting activities are carried out as per approved lifting plans and safety standards.
• Coordinate with crane operators, riggers, and site engineers during operations.
• Conduct toolbox talks, hazard identification, and risk assessment before work execution.
• Monitor manpower productivity, material usage, and work progress.
• Ensure compliance with PTW requirements, company procedures, and HSE regulations.
• Inspect lifting tools, tackles, and rigging equipment before operations.
• Maintain daily reports, site records, and work documentation.
• Coordinate with clients, supervisors, and safety teams for smooth project execution.

Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in mechanical supervision with rigging/lifting activities.
• Experience in Oil & Gas, Steel Plant, Shutdown, Industrial, or Construction projects preferred.
• Strong knowledge of lifting operations, crane coordination, and rigging practices.
• Ability to manage workforce and execute site activities independently.
• Good communication and leadership skills.
• Immediate joiners preferred.

Candidate from Southern india or who can speak hindi only will be considered for this role.

Candidate with at at least 3+ Years of relevant experience only will be considered for this role.
