Havas Media Network, the Media Experience agency, is looking for a Supervisor to join the SEO Team, part of our global community of 10,000 team members who are focused on using Meaningful Media to make a meaningful difference to brands, businesses, and people.

We are looking to add an SEO Supervisor to our team. The role will primarily involve supporting the team in client management and the tactical execution of SEO accounts.

  • You will hold joint responsibility with your SEO manager in the performance, management, and analysis of client organic search accounts
  • You are pivotal to providing data to help the team derive insight and achieve client success KPIs
  • You will be the day-to-day SEO liaison between clients and our practice
  • You will manage junior team members in their development of SEO and business
  • You will also learn on-the-job competencies in SEO, which will develop your skills/knowledge in performance marketing and the wider digital media space.

A DAY IN THE LIFE MIGHT LOOK LIKE:

Candidate must have great organic search management and client-facing skills to manage key accounts. The principal elements of the role are as follows:

  • Deliver SEO performance according to client requirements & targets
  • Undertake responsibility for standard deliverables related to organic search product/service delivery
  • Act as a main day-to-day client contact for SEO accounts
  • Support SEO strategy development for key accounts, driving traffic growth and engagement success while maximizing our clients’ business performance in organic search
  • Lead client presentations and monthly performance reviews, clearly communicating insights and action items
  • Delivery of innovative ideas to drive organic traffic and engagement performance
  • Development and management of client project plans and deliverables per client scope of work

Execution & Content Strategy

  • Perform deep-dive technical SEO audits (site speed, crawlability, schema markup, etc.)
  • Develop robust content strategies that align with user intent and the client’s marketing funnel, inclusive of AI activations
  • Execute on-page optimizations and provide clear technical requirements to developer teams
  • Monitor industry trends and algorithm updates to pivot strategies in real-time
  • Support development of new processes and deliverables for AI metrics
  • Expand and support partnerships in development of new content strategy tactics

Reporting

  • Creation of accurate reporting to account/client specifications and KPIs
  • Monitoring and analysis of SEO data via weekly or monthly reports to detect red flags, drive optimization strategy, and effectively manage organic performance
  • Ensuring client accounts are maintaining performance against targets/objectives
  • Interpreting performance reporting data for clients on a regular basis
  • Presenting performance updates to clients on a regular basis

Team Leadership & Development

  • Manage and mentor junior members providing feedback on their work and supporting their professional growth.
  • Quality-check team deliverables to ensure they meet agency standards and client goals.
  • Refine internal workflows and SEO processes to improve team efficiency.
  • Develop knowledge/skill sets of direct reports across all SEO elements and success factors

WHAT YOU’LL NEED/SKILLS:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in SEO
  • Experience working on client portfolio diverse in size and vertical
  • Excellent knowledge/experience of organic search strategy, project management, implementation and measurement
  • Experience working on projects involving multiple internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to explain “the why” behind SEO recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong knowledge/experience of MS Excel
  • Passion for and broad understanding of all aspects of SEO, content and overall performance marketing
  • Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize workload across your team and external stakeholders
  • Experience with tools such as: Brightedge, Conductor, SEMRush, Google Analytics, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console
  • Standard Knowledge of Paid Search to ensure a synergy and aligned work with SEM team
