Supplier Quality Engineer

Position: Component Engineer

Location:- Sunnyvale, GA (Onsite Role)

Contract Position

• 75% of the role will be to execute part production qualification that include: Gage R&R, Measurement Correlation, Process Capability, Process Validation, and Control Plan Verification.
• 25% about Performing investigation, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventative actions for non-conformances of purchased components.
• Excellent ability to handle challenging technical and interpersonal situations with suppliers and internal customers.
• knowledge of Part Qualification, Process FMEAs and Process Validations.
• Ability to read and interpret detailed mechanical drawings containing GD&T to be able to communicate technical information regarding manufacturing and inspection.
• 10% travel
• Onsite 5 days at Sunnyvale, CA
• In person interview for 3 hours with HM and team, initial zoom interview with the Manager
• Top skills- Problem solving skills, able to execute part production qualification that include: Gage R&R, Measurement Correlation, Process Capability, Process Validation, and Control Plan Verification, ability to handle challenging technical and interpersonal situations with suppliers
• Preferred to have experience at a medical device company or capital equipment company in a different industry.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $46.06 - $50.00 per hour
