Job Title: Territory Quality Manager – Casting & Machining

Location: Kolhapur, Maharashtra

Experience: 3 to 5 Years

Salary: Up to 7 LPA

Job Summary:

Field-based role responsible for Quality Assurance (primary KPI) and Production Coordination & OTIF delivery performance (dotted KPIs) for cast and machined components across the Kolhapur cluster. Requires strong knowledge of foundry and machining processes, regular supplier visits, and accountability for meeting customer specifications, quality standards, and delivery timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor supplier production, capacity, and scheduling to ensure OTIF performance.
• Conduct inspections of castings and machined parts using standard measuring instruments and ensure compliance with ISO/IATF and GD&T requirements.
• Manage non-conformance, lead root cause analysis, CAPA, PPAP, and First Article processes.
• Drive supplier development initiatives including SPC, control plans, and process improvements.
• Maintain production and quality reports; support audits and ensure safety compliance.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s in Mechanical / Production / Manufacturing Engineering.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in casting and machining supplier environments (foundry/OEM/auto-ancillary preferred).
• NDT Level II or ISO/IATF Internal Auditor certification is an advantage.

Skills:

• Knowledge of grey and SG iron castings and machining operations.
• Proficiency in measuring instruments, drawing interpretation, GD&T, SPC, and AQL.
• Strong communication, supplier coordination, and MS Excel skills.

Work Environment:

Field-based with frequent supplier visits in Kolhapur industrial areas. Exposure to shop floor conditions; PPE mandatory.

Preferred:

Experience with automotive or export-oriented foundry/machining setups compliant with ISO/IATF 16949.
