We are looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer to perform incoming and production inspections in our Portland area facilities. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys people, understands quality and knows how to read prints.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct timely inspections.
• Generate accurate and timely records.
• Drive continuous improvement.
• Balance inspection workload.
• Manage Correction Action/Preventive Action process.
• Conduct internal and supplier audits.

Qualifications:

• 4-year degree required.
• 5+ years’ experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Positive and professional manner.
• Excel, Outlook, and Word skills.
• Strong commitment to teamwork.
• MRP experience required.

Experience and Education:

• Minimum 4-year degree.
• Five+ years’ experience in manufacturing operations.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, & Outlook.
• Knowledge of ERP.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Skills and Knowledge

• Proven problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work unsupervised.
• Ability to lift fifty pounds.
• Valid motor vehicle operator's license.
