Job Summary
The Supplier Quality Specialist supports the Supplier Quality team by maintaining critical systems, managing audits, and ensuring accurate supplier and product documentation. This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate across departments to uphold quality and regulatory standards.
Essential Functions
Manage and maintain supplier and raw material data within TraceGains; review and verify documentation, resolve discrepancies, and provide system support to ensure accuracy of specifications and certifications.
Enter, update, and maintain label data in the Online Wellness Library (OWL) to ensure regulatory compliance and consistency across product lines.
Coordinate and schedule supplier audits; track audit progress, monitor completion, manage follow-up actions, and ensure timely resolution of findings.
Develop, edit, and maintain item specifications in alignment with quality and regulatory requirements.
Validate data accuracy across systems, support resolution of product and supplier-related issues, review and respond to correspondence, and provide administrative support to the Supplier Quality department as needed.
Job Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline preferred or similar coursework in math and science disciplines or equivalent experience.
Strong analytical and computer skills with advanced use of excel spreadsheets, databases, PowerPoint etc.
Ability to gather and consolidate data accurately in a timely manner.
Experience with TraceGains or similar supplier management systems highly desired.
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and comfort working with data systems.
Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to touch, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
The employee must exert up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. of force frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. of force constantly to move objects.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include near acuity, far acuity, depth perception, accommodation, color vision, and field of vision.
