Key responsibilities

Forecasting and planning:
Develop and implement strategies for demand forecasting, supply planning, and inventory management to maintain a balanced flow of goods.
Manage relationships with suppliers, research fair pricing, and negotiate contracts.
Identify areas for cost reduction through process improvement, new routes, or better supplier agreements.
Track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and report on supply chain performance to management.
Work with various departments, such as logistics, procurement, and production, to ensure smooth operations.
Help implement new tools and processes to streamline operations and provide recommendations for strategic decision-making.
Monitor the supply chain for potential disruptions and develop plans to mitigate them.
Collect, analyze, and interpret supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
Skills And Qualifications
Ability to analyze complex data and use advanced analytics tools to model and predict outcomes.
Clearly present findings and recommendations to management and collaborate effectively with other teams.
Identify and resolve issues that arise in the supply chain process.
Experience with supply chain management software like SAP is often required.
Understand how supply chain operations integrate with overall business objectives.
